Coca cola is recognized all over the world because of its
consistent visual branding strategy. Coca cola is represented by happiness, share
and joy. This could also be the reason why consumers are loyal to coca cola.
This brands iconic spencerian script logo, introduced in
1887, has never being changed. Another feature is the red and white signature
colour scheme which symbolizes excitement, energy and warmth. The contoured
bottle, introduced in 1915 have become synonymous with the brand. Coca cola’s
emotional story telling builds a emotional connection between the brand and
consumers, “holidays are coming” truck campaign, “share a coke” campaign. Coca cola
also sponsors’ sports and event which reinforces with unity and shared
experiences.
The brand engages and adapts modern digital marketing
trends, it actively engages with consumers through Instagram, Facebook, twitter
and TikTok. This is a way the brand visually communicates with the consumers. Coca
cola encourages consumers to share their own stories as we see in the “share a
coke” campaign.
